A Summer Event For Business Owners

A Summer Event For Business Owners

July 11, 2025

On June 10th, Solomon Private Wealth hosted an engaging evening for North Shore business owners and companies who work with them. See this video for some highlights!

Sharing My CEPA Expertise with the Community

Hosted at the Danversport Yacht Club, Maximizing Your Business Value: Prepare for the Next Big Opportunity, included networking time and a program. The program featured me and two guest speakers from OneAscent Financial Services, LLC. Our program focus was business planning. I recently earned my Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) certificate. This new credential broadens my ability to guide business owners through the process of growing or transitioning their companies with strategy and purpose.

As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and as an entrepreneur myself, I understand firsthand the challenges business owners face. It is not easy balancing daily operations with the need to plan for the future. This was our first event to bring support and advice to the business community. And our goal was to help local business owners start proactively thinking about their exit strategy, whether that’s coming up soon or down the road.

Key Points From The Program

I was joined by OneAscent’s Brian Church and Dean Niewolny. Brian is the founder and CEO of Advisory DNA, and OneAscent’s Chief Growth Officer. Dean is the Vice President for Strategic Engagement at OneAscent. Together, we walked the attendees through five essential questions every business owner should be asking to better plan for the future.

  1. What is the state of my financial health?

  2. What is my business worth?

  3. Should I grow, sell, or hold?

  4. How do I protect and maximize what I’ve built?

  5. What comes after?

As we explored each question, they sparked insightful conversations. This left attendees with an actionable understanding of growth and exit planning as well as meaningful new connections. If you are interested in learning more about growth or exit planning while aligning your personal and business goals, please contact me. I’d be happy to chat with you! The team and I are planning more networking and learning opportunities. And soon, you'll be receiving invitations to these upcoming events!

Until then - enjoy the summer!
